From One Therapist to a Team of Five

In 2008, Kristen Say graduated from the Finger Lakes School of Massage in Ithaca with a singular focus: helping people feel better with her hands. Two years of building her skills and her reputation led to a leap of faith — in 2010, Kristen opened Hands On Health Massage Therapy on Genesee Street in Greene, NY.

What started as a solo practice in a small storefront has grown into a full wellness studio with five licensed therapists, multiple treatment rooms outfitted with rustic barn doors and warm lighting, and a reputation that draws clients from across Chenango County and beyond. The studio's signature touches — a hot tea bar, warm towels, room scent selection — grew organically from Kristen's belief that healing is an experience, not just a service.

Today, demand exceeds capacity. The team is actively hiring additional therapists to keep up with a schedule that fills weeks in advance. After 16 years, Hands On Health remains exactly what Kristen envisioned: a place where you walk in carrying the weight of your week and walk out feeling like a different person.
